Remember the Springtime
By Stacy James

You can't sing the blues if you've never been hurt
A fellow survivor, I've rolled in the dirt
I've seen lots of darkness; I've known lots of pain
I've lavished in sunshine but known pouring rain
The rain's part of life, but the clouds roll away
Exposing the sunshine and lighting the day
For darkness and rain last only a season
For green life to grow, we have rain for a reason
And trials and pain can work the same way
When we trust in The Master to show us the way
For after the winter the springtime arrives
Bringing new songs and budding new life
So remember the springtime when life takes its toll
Nothing bad lasts forever when God heals the soul.
